ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,331,591, issued on June 17, was assigned to MURPHY LADDER LLC.
"Ladder" was invented by Jeremy Barker (Morgan, Utah).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A ladder that is foldable and collapsible. The ladder includes a first side rail and a second side rail that are spaced apart from one another by a plurality of rungs extending between the first and second side rails. The rungs may be pivotably coupled to the first and second side rails. The ladder is foldable between a plurality of configurations and the ladder is collapsible rail-to-rail."
The patent was filed on Dec. 13, 2019, under Application No. 17/312,429.
