ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,437,921, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to MURATA MANUFACTURING Co. LTD. (Kyoto, Japan).
"Multilayer ceramic capacitor" was invented by Ryota Aso (Nagaokakyo, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes dielectric layers and inner electrode layers that are stacked and each made of a ceramic material. Each of the inner electrode layers includes through holes. Inside the through holes, a portion of the dielectric layers is packed and Si that is derived from the dielectric layers segregates."
The patent was filed on Dec. 4, 2023, under Application No. 18/527,434.
