ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,451,580, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (Nagaokakyo, Japan).

"Selectively coupled power splitter" was invented by Anoop Sheokand (Lake Forest, Calif.) and Emre Ayranci (Costa Mesa, Calif.).
