US Patent Issued to Murata Manufacturing on Dec. 2 for "Inductor" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,488,937, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (Kyoto-fu, Japan).

"Inductor" was invented by Takumi Arai (Nagaokakyo, Japan), Motoki Toyama (Nagaokakyo, Japan) and Daigo Mizumura (Nagaokakyo, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An inductor capable of suppressing deformation of a conductive wire portion in a core. The inductor includes a conductor is embedded in a core containing magnetic powder. The core includes a mounting surface facing a mounting substrate side at the time of mounting, and a pair of end surfaces orthogonal to the mounting surface.
