US Patent Issued to MuCell Extrusion on Jan. 13 for "Anisotropic thin foamed polyethylene sheet and applications thereof" (Massachusetts Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,521,921, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to MuCell Extrusion LLC (Woburn, Mass.).

"Anisotropic thin foamed polyethylene sheet and applications thereof" was invented by Mehdi Saniei (Belmont, Mass.), James K. Sakorafos (Shrewsbury, Mass.), Nicholas R. Torraco (Arlington, Mass.) and Mark E. Lindenfelzer (Milton, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An anisotropic multilayer film comprising one or more foam layers is described herein."

The patent was filed on Nov. 16, 2018, under Application No. 16/193,043.
