ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,502,873, issued on Dec. 23, was assigned to MuCell Extrusion LLC (Woburn, Mass.).

"Multi-layer polymer foam film for packaging applications and the method of making the same" was invented by Mehdi Saniei (Belmont, Mass.), Mark E. Lindenfelzer (Milton, Mass.) and Eric V. Fredrickson (Lancaster, Mass.).
