US Patent Issued to Motorola Mobility on Aug. 19 for "Input device-initiated application activation" (American, Indian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,395,705, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to Motorola Mobility LLC (Chicago).

"Input device-initiated application activation" was invented by Amit Kumar Agrawal (Bangalore, India) and Rohit Sisodia (Naperville, Ill.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In aspects of input device-initiated application activation, a media server detects initiation of an input device based on a monitoring of a set of one or more input devices that include the input device.
