ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,273,690, issued on April 8, was assigned to Motorola Mobility LLC (Chicago).
"Speaker type for audio output" was invented by Amit Kumar Agrawal (Bangalore, India), Rohit Sisodia (Naperville, Ill.) and Michael E Russell (Lake Zurich, Ill.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Techniques for speaker type for audio output are described. For instance, the described techniques can be implemented to adapt audio output of an audio system to user position in an environment as well as speaker types for audio devices of the audio system."
The patent was filed on Dec. 13, 2022, under Application No. 18/065,093.
