ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,449,461, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC Corp. (Tokyo).
"Charge sensor" was invented by Jun Kamioka (Tokyo) and Koji Yamanaka (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A charge sensor according to the present disclosed technology includes a quantum dot to have a first end connected to an input terminal via a first tunnel junction and a second end connected to an output terminal via a second tunnel junction, and an inductor connected in parallel to the quantum dot."
The patent was filed on Sept. 25, 2023, under Application No. 18/372,416.
