According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A base station as a wireless communication device that performs multicarrier transmission with a plurality of terminals includes: a plurality of on-chip array antennas that transmits a constant envelope modulated signal; and a control device that controls directions and bandwidths of beams of the plurality of on-chip array antennas and allocates the on-chip array antennas that transmit and receive signals to and from the terminals."
