ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,334,610, issued on June 17, was assigned to MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC Corp. (Tokyo).

"Fuel cell system" was invented by Toshio Shinoki (Tokyo), Masaru Shinozaki (Tokyo), Junichi Nakazono (Tokyo), Makiko Kise (Tokyo), Nozomi Kasahara (Tokyo) and Keijun Kasajima (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fuel cell system includes: a reformer which generates a reformed gas containing hydrogen by reacting hydrocarbon and moisture with each other; a fuel cell stack which generates electric energy through electrochemical reaction of the reformed gas and an oxidant; an ejector which, using steam as a drive fluid, sucks either a raw fuel containing the h...
