ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,263, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to MILWAUKEE ELECTRIC TOOL Corp. (Brookfield, Wis.).
"Power tool with knurled bushing" was invented by Zhen Bo Yang (Dongguan, China), Kentez L. Craig (Milwaukee), Wei Chao Xu (Dongguan, China) and Zhao Qing Zhang (Dongguan, China).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A power tool includes a housing, a drive assembly including an output shaft extending from the housing such that a tool element for performing work on a workpiece is attachable to the output shaft, and a bushing rotatably supporting the output shaft. The bushing includes an outer surface having a knurled texture."
