ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,418,216, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. (Brookfield, Wis.).

"Power tool motor braking using magnetically susceptible fluid" was invented by Douglas R. Fieldbinder (Greendale, Wis.) and Nikita Bhatt (Chicago).
