ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,613, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to MILWAUKEE ELECTRIC TOOL Corp. (Brookfield, Wis.).
"Percussion tool" was invented by Matthew S. Zawisza (Pewaukee, Wis.), Andrew D. Van Hoorn (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) and Ethan T. Zimany (Kenosha, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A percussion tool includes a housing, a percussion mechanism including a striker supported for reciprocation in the housing along a first axis, and an anti-vibration system for attenuating vibration in a direction of the first axis.
