ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,323,038, issued on June 3, was assigned to Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. (Brookfield, Wis.).

"Brushless motor for a power tool" was invented by Andrew T. Beyerl (Pewaukee, Wis.), Keith Boulanger (Kenosha, Wis.), Alex Huber (Brookfield, Wis.), William A. Elger (West Bend, Wis.) and Jeffrey M. Wackwitz (Waukesha, Wis.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A power tool including a housing, a controller within the housing, and a brushless motor within the housing and controlled by the controller. The brushless motor including a stator assembly including a stator core having stator laminations with an annular portion and inwardly extending stator tee...
