US Patent Issued to Milwaukee Electric Tool on July 22 for "Knife with blade storage" (Chinese, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,365,104, issued on July 22, was assigned to Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. (Brookfield, Wis.).

"Knife with blade storage" was invented by Niqi Zhang (Huarong, China), Andrew M. Tuchscherer (Wauwatosa, Wis.) and Scott M. Hangartner (Hartland, Wis.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A knife with a replacement blade stored within the knife is provided. The knife allows the replacement blade to be easily and quickly accessible. An arm is movable between a locked and unlocked position. In the locked position the arm interfaces with the replacement blade to restrain the replacement blade from being removed."
