US Patent Issued to Milwaukee Electric Tool on July 15 for "Controlling bulk capacitance charge in a power tool device" (Wisconsin Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,362,590, issued on July 15, was assigned to Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. (Brookfield, Wis.).

"Controlling bulk capacitance charge in a power tool device" was invented by Nicholas C. Mantych (Burlington, Wis.) and Alexander T. Huber (Menomonee Falls, Wis.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A power tool device including a housing, first and second battery pack terminals, at least one bulk capacitor, a pre-charge circuit, and a discharge circuit.
