ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,274,201, issued on April 15, was assigned to Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. (Brookfield, Wis.).

"String trimmer" was invented by Hugh A. Dales (Germantown, Wis.) and Mitchell E. Carpenter (Milwaukee).
