ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,252,658, issued on March 18, was assigned to MicroVention Inc. (Aliso Viejo, Calif.).
"Durable surface coatings" was invented by Hussain Rangwala (Villa Park, Calif.), William R. Patterson (Huntington Beach, Calif.) and Aaron Baldwin (Orange, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein are durable coatings, i.e. for medical devices, and methods of forming the coatings."
The patent was filed on Nov. 16, 2023, under Application No. 18/511,809.
