ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,435,732, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).
"Centrifugal blower housing" was invented by Sneha Rajeev Sondur (Seattle) and Sudeendra Durgappa (Bellevue, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A housing for a centrifugal blower comprises a first wall and a second wall forming a primary exit, and a third wall and a fourth wall forming a secondary exit. A volute tongue is located between the second wall and the fourth wall. A moveable flap is pivotally coupled at the volute tongue and extends toward the primary exit."
