ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,461,607, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Foldable input device" was invented by Pengfei Lei (Shenzhen, China), Stephen chi hung Chiu (Kaohsiung, Taiwan), Kelong Zhao (Shenzhen, China), Haiji Sun (Shenzhen, China) and Simon Cameron Dearsley (Bellevue, Wash.).
