"Digital phase-locked loops (PLL) including closed-loop time-to-digital converter (TDC) gain calibration circuits and related methods" was invented by Ping Lu (Cary, N.C.), Minhan Chen (Cary, N.C.) and Shaishav A. Desai (San Diego).
