ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,481,906, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Majorana-based qubits in 3D topological insulator flakes" was invented by Dmitry Pikulin (Redmond, Wash.) and Roman Lutchyn (Santa Barbara, Calif.).
