ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,311,312, issued on May 27, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Carbon capture system" was invented by Husam Atallah Alissa (Redmond, Wash.), Mark Alan Monroe (Louisville, Colo.), Bharath Ramakrishnan (Bellevue, Wash.) and Vaidehi Oruganti (Kirkland, Wash.).
