US Patent Issued to MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING on May 13 for "Secure data ingestion with edge computing" (Washington Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,301,714, issued on May 13, was assigned to MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Secure data ingestion with edge computing" was invented by Ganesh Ananthanarayanan (Sammamish, Wash.), Ramarathnam Venkatesan (Redmond, Wash.), Yuanchao Shu (Kirkland, Wash.), Kiran Muthabatulla (Redmond, Wash.) and Yoganand Rajasekaran (Bothell, Wash.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The techniques described herein use an edge device to manage the security for a data stream being ingested by a tenant and a cloud platform.
