ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,244,977, issued on March 4, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Monitoring position and orientation of a projector" was invented by Parry Byron Johnson (Redmond, Wash.), Dmitriy Churin (Redmond, Wash.) and Dmitry Reshidko (Sammamish, Wash.).
