ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,333,387, issued on June 17, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Logical qubit encoding surface" was invented by Nicolas Guillaume Delfosse (Bellevue, Wash.), Michael Edward Beverland (Seattle), Jeongwan Haah (Bellevue, Wash.) and Rui Chao (Los Angeles).
