"Focus synchronization across incompatible operating systems" was invented by Nick Eubanks (Redmond, Wash.) and Zarana Kiran Desai (Redmond, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The techniques disclosed herein synchronize focus between two operating systems that run concurrently. A proxy application running on a primary operating system (OS) presents a guest application running in a secondary OS as if it was native to the primary OS.
