ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,387,448, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Empty space matrix condensation" was invented by Madeleine Rosa Beagley (Vancouver, Canada) and Juan Bernardo Tamez Pena (Bothell, Wash.).
