ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,281,975, issued on April 22, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Optical sensor for two-phase cooling vapor level measurement" was invented by Robert Craig McFarlane Jr. (Sammamish, Wash.) and Craig Steven Ranta (Olympia, Wash.).
