ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,339,476, issued on June 24, was assigned to MicroShade A/S (Glostrup, Denmark).
"Angular and spectrally selective shading sheet" was invented by Eik Bezzel (Hvalso, Denmark).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a sheet for coating a glass surface having both shading and spectrally selective features in a single foil or film. The present invention relates also to an insulated glazing unit having a glass surface comprising the sheet having both shading and spectrally selective features in a single foil or film."
