ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,314,590, issued on May 27, was assigned to Micron Technology Inc. (Boise, Idaho).
"Incomplete superblock management for memory systems" was invented by Tomer Eliash (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Aspects of the present disclosure configure a system component, such as a memory sub-system controller, to provide superblock management based on memory component reliabilities."
The patent was filed on Feb. 26, 2024, under Application No. 18/587,442.
