US Patent Issued to Microline Surgical on June 3 for "Insulating grips for minimally invasive surgical instruments" (Massachusetts Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,318,128, issued on June 3, was assigned to Microline Surgical Inc. (Beverly, Mass.).

"Insulating grips for minimally invasive surgical instruments" was invented by Christopher Alesi (Saugus, Mass.) and Dennis Pelletier (Byfield, Mass.).

The grips can include internal metal frames that are arranged to limit electrical conductivity within the grips and to other components that attach to a grip, such as a ratchet.
