ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,498,270, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to Metrohm Spectro Inc. (Plainsboro, N.J.).
"Multi-dispersive spectrometer" was invented by Quaid Vohra (Laramie, Wyo.), Celestin Zemtsop (Laramie, Wyo.) and Mark Watson (Laramie, Wyo.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multi-dispersive spectrometer is provided in which the spectrometer comprises an optical system configured to direct an excitation signal from an excitation light source toward a sample, receive a spectroscopy signal from the sample, and direct the spectroscopy signal toward the detector.
