ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,285,971, issued on April 29, was assigned to Metaone Corp. (Taipei, Taiwan).
"Power device in wheel" was invented by Yueh-Feng Chiang (Taipei, Taiwan) and Kuo-Ching Chiang (New Taipei, Taiwan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electromagnetic induction hub includes a first disc having a first magnet, a second disc having a second magnet, a coil disc formed between the first disc and the second disc, a bearing penetrates the first disc, the second disc and the coil disc."
The patent was filed on April 13, 2022, under Application No. 17/719,395.
