ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,362,918, issued on July 15, was assigned to MetaLoop Inc. (Fremont, Calif.).

"Hardened key derivation in multi-party computation" was invented by Xiangjun Li (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Yijie Bei (San Jose, Calif.) and Ryan Lehmkuhl (Oakland, Calif.).
