ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,533,424, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to Metagenomi Inc. (Emeryville, Calif.).

"Supplementation of liver enzyme expression" was invented by Brian C. Thomas (Berkeley, Calif.) and Alan Brooks (Clayton, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein are methods, compositions, and systems derived from uncultivated microorganisms useful supplementing liver enzyme deficiencies."
