US Patent Issued to Metabolic Technologies on July 29 for "Compositions and methods of use of beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate (HMB) and probiotics" (Florida, Iowa Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,370,159, issued on July 29, was assigned to Metabolic Technologies LLC (Missoula, Mont.).

"Compositions and methods of use of beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate (HMB) and probiotics" was invented by Jay Hoffman (Oviedo, Fla.) and John Rathmacher (Story City, Iowa).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides a composition comprising HMB and at least one probiotic.
