ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,298,123, issued on May 13, was assigned to Meta Platforms Technologies LLC (Menlo Park, Calif.).

"Optical alignment for ultra-high coplanarity of two planes" was invented by Peter Topalian (Seattle) and Kavous Jorabchi (Bellevue, Wash.).
