ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,356,088, issued on July 8, was assigned to Meta Platforms Technologies LLC (Menlo Park, Calif.).

"Multimode detector for different time-of-flight based depth sensing modalities" was invented by Augusto Ronchini Ximenes (Seattle) and Michael Hall (Bellevue, Wash.).
