ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,366,744, issued on July 22, was assigned to Meta Platforms Technologies LLC (Menlo Park, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A wearable display device includes a light source, a beam scanner, a pupil-replicating lightguide, and a detector.
