US Patent Issued to Meta Platforms Technologies on July 15 for "Ambient light detection and hyperlapse video generation" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,363,448, issued on July 15, was assigned to Meta Platforms Technologies LLC (Menlo Park, Calif.).

"Ambient light detection and hyperlapse video generation" was invented by Jinglun Gao (San Mateo, Calif.), Jun Hu (San Jose, Calif.) and Shan Tong (Sunnyvale, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Hyperlapse imaging is described. A device may include a camera, a sensor and a data store.
