ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,510,926, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Meta Platforms Technologies LLC (Menlo Park, Calif.).

"Pass-through ratcheting mechanism" was invented by Jason Howard (Alpharetta, Ga.), Thomas Christopher Frey (Seattle) and Karthik Kadirvel (Cupertino, Calif.).
