ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,218,944, issued on Feb. 4, was assigned to Meta Platform Technologies LLC (Menlo Park, Calif.).

"Group travel between artificial reality destinations" was invented by Michael Hadley (Los Angeles), Danyang Zhao (Oakland, Calif.), Patrick McGartoll (Sunnyvale, Calif.) and Nicolas Sleiman Machado (San Francisco).
