ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,342,830, issued on July 1, was assigned to Messer Industries USA Inc. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Onsite CO 2 generation for poultry stunning" was invented by Michael D. Newman (Hillsborough, N.J.) and Christopher T. Ebeling (Far Hills, N.J.).
