ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,421,524, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC (Rahway, N.J.).
"Expression vectors for eukaryotic expression systems" was invented by Zhimei Du (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Bo Jiang (Westfield, N.J.) and Xiaoyan Tang (Wayne, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides expression vectors for expressing recombinant proteins (e.g., biologics) in mammalian cells.
