ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,371,430, issued on July 29, was assigned to Merck Patent GmbH (Darmstadt, Germany).
"5-morpholin-4-yl-pyrazolo[4,3-bpyridine derivatives" was invented by Lars Burgdorf (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) and Christos Tsaklakidis (Heidelberg, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Compounds of the formula Ia and Ibin which R1, R2 and R3 have the meanings indicated in claim 1, are inhibitors of ATR, and can be employed for the treatment of diseases such as cancer."
The patent was filed on Sept. 4, 2019, under Application No. 17/274,043.
