US Patent Issued to Mercedes-Benz Group on May 27 for "Secure vehicle software updates via private network" (Washington Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,314,703, issued on May 27, was assigned to Mercedes-Benz Group AG (Stuttgart, Germany).

"Secure vehicle software updates via private network" was invented by Chet Marshall (Kirkland, Wash.), Nashon Steffen (Snohomish, Wash.) and Jeremy Stowe (Lake Tapps, Wash.).
