ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,386,186, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Mentor Acquisition One LLC (Plantation, Fla.).
"See-through computer display systems" was invented by Ralph F. Osterhout (San Francisco), John N. Border (Campbell, Calif.), Robert Michael Lohse (Palo Alto, Calif.), John D. Haddick (Corte Madera, Calif.) and Nima L. Shams (San Jose, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Aspects of the present invention relate to providing see-through computer display optics."
