ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,031, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Medtronic Navigation Inc. (Lafayette, Colo.).
"Automatic identification of tracked surgical devices using an electromagnetic localization system" was invented by Steven L. Hartmann (Superior, Colo.) and Jason Tipton (Westminster, Colo.).
